CRJ Services recently took delivery of an Anaconda FTR150 tracked feeder conveyor, which they bought from Matpro Machinery. Matpro Machinery was appointed the exclusive Anaconda distributor for the North of England and Scotland late last year.
Cheshire (Knutsford), based CRJ Services is a leading hirer of mobile recycling equipment used to shred, screen, and sort waste. The FTR150 tracked feeder proved an excellent solution for CRJ’s hire fleet. Ben McQuaid (Managing Director of Matpro Machinery) commented:

The FTR suited CRJ’s requirements; where the user needs to control the flow of material output. Both the (feeder and main) conveyors on the Anaconda are fitted with variable speed controls to ensure the operator has full control of the scalping/feeding process. The FTR is excellent at holding material within the hopper then allowing a regulated flow of material to travel up the main conveyor belt. This particular function means that the FTR can be used to feed material onto screening and crushing equipment.”
Mr. Symons concluded:

The FTR150 is available with an open feeder to accept all materials into the feed hopper or can be fitted with a remote reject grid to scalp off any oversize material present. There is also the option of fitting a vibrating grid to help separate/remove any unwanted large material that may be more difficult to the scalp with the standard reject grid. This vibrating grid is available as a double deck where a further product can be removed and stockpiled.
